The other month I did an upgrade to my N95 to the newest version of 30.0.015 (dated 15/07/08) and have found my phone seems to be worse. I know the N95 can be a little deaf when it comes to signal but now you have to be within 4kms to a base station and even if you are only a block and a half from the tower it seems to have issues getting full signal. I have two N95's and both are the same thing but when I use my old N70 I get service up to 15kms away from a tower. I have even tried the phone with the other two phone carriers here in Australia and it's the same issue. I use Vodafone full time.
So what I'm asking is, has anyone else had this happen to them after updating the phones software or is it that I have just been unlucky with my two N95's?

Back it up, give it another flash, see what happens.

I have done this just in case something went wrong the first time but it's made no difference but I'm open to anything in hoping I don't have to send my phones into Nokia which would mean I would be without a phone for a few weeks.

I had the same problems with V21 and when I reflashed my N95 it died on me, lucky there was still warranty so I had it exchanged. Came back with V20 and waited to upgrade to V30 until I knew it would be okay to do it. But reflash it again, it should help for sure!
